My First year in Preschool

Hello!

I'm Molly Besler, the Half Day Preschool teacher at Alden-Hebron Elementary School. This is my second year as a classroom teacher! I graduated from Illinois State University in 2015. I received my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Reading and EC Special Education. Currently, I am taking classes to complete my ESL Endorsement.

After I graduated from ISU, I got my first job as a Kindergarten Assistant teacher in Grayslake. I worked there for a year and transitioned to Kildeer School District 96. I was working in a Structured Preschool Classroom, meaning working with students who have Autism. It was a wonderful experience and sad to leave such an amazing group of team members. However, now I am creating new adventures and look forward to meet each and every new student of mine!

When I'm not at school, I enjoy shopping adventures with my mom, exploring Chicago with my friends, and simply curling up in a blanket watching a great movie! I am a huge Disney fan, too. I try to go to Disney World at least once a year, but I like to travel to other places as well. I've been to England, France, Spain, and I just went to Italy!

Cheers to a great school year!!
